St George's welcomes our new Priest in Charge, Rev. Adam Watson
We eagerly anticipate what God has in store for St George's as this next Chapter opens in the Story of this Church and its community.
Adam will be supported by our Childrens and Families Worker, Jonny, Rev. Kath Pickering who will continue as Curate with us for a time until we send her out with our blessing to a Parish (parishes?) of her own. And very capably assisted by our retired ministers, Colin & Steve. Adam looks forward to working with our team of volunteers who keep the various strands of St George's ministry going. Together they'll be a great team.

It’s our last Summer Social this week - Wednesday 30th August from 10:00am at St George’s Church. Children and Families are welcome to join us for a morning of craft activities, games, snacks and drinks - we’d love to meet you! #stgeorgeskids

Fr Paul, our Rural Dean popped down to St George’s to authorise and present certificates to our three new ALMs (Authorised Lay Ministers): Jonny, Leonie and Henry. Congratulations to you all!
The summer holidays are here! We've got some great events planned for children and families - join us on Wednesday 9th / 23rd / 30th August for mornings of craft activities, games and refreshments for the whole family.
