We are delighted to welcome you to the St George’s family and look forward to getting to know you and giving you the opportunity to develop your relationship with Jesus.
We know that a bit of information in advance can be really helpful to make the most of your visit so if you have any questions not covered here or elsewhere on the website, do contact us: email@example.com.
We have a Welcome Team (often wearing badges!) who will greet you when you arrive – they can help point you in the right direction with regards seating, groups for youngsters and toilets. During communion services, you will be invited to come to the front of the church and take part, or if you prefer, you can come up for a blessing instead.
There is a car park, and we usually have tea/coffee after the services so that you can get to know people.
There are cards on the pew for you to fill in with your contact details – do please complete one of these and pass to one of the service leaders so we can keep you informed about what’s happening as we get to know you better.
At most services, there will be someone who can pray with/for you, if you wish, and there are opportunities to receive prayer within the Communion services also.
There are many areas where we value people’s help and there are opportunities for people to join one of our many teams. If you are new to us, get to know us a little first and allow yourself time to find the right way to get involved.
