We love young people at St George’s and want to do all we can to equip and empower them to be better followers of Jesus. We hope to create spaces for young people to meet each other and to discover, grow and develop a faith in a welcoming and supportive environment. We do this as a family, journeying together with lots of fun and encouragement!
If you’re in school years 7-13 you are more than welcome to join us!

FREEDOM IN CHRIST
Our Wednesday night Youth Group meets from 7-8pm in the church hall – this term we’ll be exploring the Freedom in Christ course, a great follow on from Youth Alpha, a chance for young people discover what faith in Jesus is all about. See below for all the details.
What’s Involved? Freedom in Christ is a course designed to help young people address the 3 themes surrounding the Christian faith. Firstly to understand who they are in Jesus, secondly to give them the tools to walk free from the rubbish that holds them back. And thirdly to empower them to live for Jesus.
Each session provides creative ways to explore each theme and topic through videos, games and discussions.
Who is it for? This group is open to both younger and older youth. You could invite friends who are curious about the Christian faith or people who simply want to know more in safe and friendly environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much more as title as you wish.
What will it cost? It’s free, we’ll even provide snacks!
Come along and find out what its all about.
