Prayer is fundamental to our life at St Georges and happens in a variety of ways, both within services and at other times of the week.
You are welcome to sit in church or come through to the Prayer Room, which is accessed via either entrance. During the week, the room is often available whilst the church is open, if you wish to come in and pray. On Saturdays, the room is also open (10am - 1pm usually) and team members are present if you would like someone to pray with or for you.
Do let us know if you’d like us to pray for you, or someone you care about. Our experience is that God is powerfully at work through the prayers of Christian people.
Other opportunities to join in prayer:
Prayer Meeting – 9.30-10.30am
1st Saturday of the month. Gathering to pray for the ministry & future of St George’s.
7.30-8.30pm, 3rd Tuesday in the month. An hour of Christian meditation in the Prayer Room.
24-7 Prayer weeks
Take place periodically during the year and the church is manned through the day & night for more continuous prayer. See what’s on for our prayer weeks and www.24-7prayer.com to find out more about the 24-7 Prayer initiative.
